Information on this site
The content here is provided for general information about our services and about asbestos, demolition and decontamination generally. It is not a professional assessment of your building. Whether a particular material contains asbestos, and what should be done about it, can only be established by inspection and laboratory analysis of a sample.
Do not rely on this website — or on the chat window — to decide whether a material is safe to disturb. Ask us, and we will look at it.
The chat window
The chat assistant is automated. It matches your question against content published on this site and returns the closest answer. It does not generate new statements and does not give advice specific to your property.
Its answers are informational. Where they conflict with a written quote, a signed contract or advice given by our staff, those prevail.
Quotes
A quote request submitted through this site is a request, not a contract. It does not bind either party. Work begins only after a written quote has been issued and accepted.
Quotes issued before an on-site assessment are provisional. If the site reveals conditions that could not be established from your description and photographs — a larger affected area, a friable material where a bonded one was expected, undisclosed water damage — we will tell you and reissue the quote before proceeding, not afterwards.
Acceptable use
Do not use this site to submit false information, to submit requests on someone else's behalf without their knowledge, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, or to send automated traffic to its forms.
Intellectual property
The text, photographs, layout, logo and code of this site belong to Global Building Services Limited unless credited otherwise. You may read, print and share pages for your own use. You may not republish substantial parts commercially without our written permission.
Liability
We take care that the information here is accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete, error-free or continuously available.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for the work we actually perform for you, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Links to other sites
Where we link to a third-party site — a regulator, a laboratory, a mapping service — we do not control it and are not responsible for its content or its privacy practices.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Disputes fall to the courts of Alberta.
Changes
We may revise these terms. The current version is always the one published here, with the date shown above.
